Planned Burning - Country Fire Authority

CFA brigades conduct planned burning which reduce fuels to minimise the impact and spread of bushfire. Some information from CFA that explains this process.

Consumer Affairs Victoria

Victorians are being urged not to use or buy ethanol-fuelled burners after they were banned from sale this week. There have been 113 injuries and 115 fire incidents relating to the burners have been reported throughout Australia since 2010.
