We want to share with you some photos from our Nonagenarian Morning Tea last week. Over 50 Legacy widows who had all reached the age of 90 years young attended, and were treated to scones, cakes and nice hot cups of tea. They also had the toe-tapping pleasure of singing along to the wartime songs performed live by Megan & Elaine. Thank you to all who supported this opportunity to give our ladies a special and fun filled morning.

IT IS AN ISSUE THAT DIVIDES TWO STATES. It turns neighbour against neighbour, and creates turmoil in workplaces across the nation. On behalf of the 8000+ Queensland families in Legacy Brisbane's care, we wish the best of luck to the Queensland Maroons for Game 1. Who are you supporting tonight? #Queenslander
12 May - Remembering Vietnam War Nurses
REMEMBERING OUR VIETNAM WAR NURSES. We thought we would share this interesting story about our Medical Staff who served during the Vietnam War. This interview was aired on Studio 10 in May and features little known history and first hand experiences from nurses who were actually there. Do you know any nurses who served in Vietnam? http://bit.ly/1TO4oRw

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums out there, especially our Legacy Widows who, through their love and compassion, allow their children to thrive despite their loss. A special mention to the mothers who are deployed overseas and cannot be with their loved ones today. We hope, wherever you are, you are all made to feel very special and loved.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of the donors, fundraisers, Legatees, volunteers, barbecue-ers, cross fitters, office workers, tradies, business owners, and ADF personnel who changed the lives of our Legacy families this ANZAC Day. We could not do the work that we do without your generosity! The care of more than 80,000 families Australia wide is only possible due to your support. Here is a small collage of photos from the ANZAC Day March in Brisbane.
