DETOX TIPS: 1/2 cup home made granola with puffed millet, almonds, macadamias, seeds and blueberries in almond milk. I'm opting to intermittent fast alternative days as I adjust to blood sugar issues post holiday over eating and drinking. After nearly fainting at yoga this morning mid pose I think you need to listen to your body. Now, the key to include here is blueberries. Blueberries, Green tea and our friend Apple Cider vinegar contain polyphenols. Polyphenols feed a beneficial bacteria in our colon for weight loss called Bacteroidetes. So it's like I said about the green tea yesterday, they're a prebiotic. #burnfat #detox #naturopath #startyearfeelinggreat

DETOX TIP: intermittent fasting with a twist. Breakfast is a cleansing juice. This one is from @redmoose_ new cleanse juice with celery cucumber lemon ginger spinach. Perfect for detoxing. I'm not fasting in mornings properly as you would with intermittent fasting as I have hypothyroid which is affected with calorie restricting and stress on body. But juicing is great for this short period of time. #detox #naturopath #burnfat #startyearfeelinggreat

DETOX TIP: the second thing I do each morning is get a cup of green tea. Green tea is a prebiotic which helps feed good bacteria. It also gives a good clean out and pick up without relying on coffee which is bad for many women from my clinical experience. I also then give gratitude by journaling with my guides. Using Rachael White Clairvoyant Healer oils to help detox from the crazy stress of things and open my heart to love and abundance. Giving gratitude allows us to think about all the great things we have in our lives and forget negative things that hold us down. Journaling is my souls detox.

The best cellulite exercise

Part of my New Years resolution was to start to get back into a better mix of cardio, strength and flexibility. Now I've healed from a terrible hip injury with yoga, I'm ready to get back into light running. My area of focus is cellulite on my butt and hamstrings. I found this video great in order to explain is not fat it's inactive muscle. Each morning I'm going to focus on lots of glute work and some jogging to get it all moving.
