Description
The Old Aquinians Hockey Club is one of the top hockey clubs in Western Australia with teams competing at all levels from juniors through to the masters and the elite in men's and women's competition. The Old Aquinians Hockey Club was founded in 1932 by Phon Scott and his small band of helpers as a one-team club. In that year they won the B Grade Challenge Cup and were victorious in the end of season Grand Final, followed by a Victory Dinner at Lalor's Perth Hotel - so the club was born and has continued on it's successful way with very proud traditions ever since.

CONGRATS TO REDS PLAYER KATE HANNA ON BEING SELECTED TO COMPETE WITH THE HOCKEYROOS AT WORLD LEAGUE! Both Red's ladies Maddy Fitzpatrick & Kate Hanna will leave this Sunday to travel to the Netherlands before competing later this month! Coach K is sad to see them go from her women's side but excited to see them in the green & gold! If you see them on Saturday at the club wish them good luck! #GOREDS

CONGRATS TO ALL AT BUNBURY CARNIVAL THIS WEEKEND!! 9/10 boys won the division 9/10 girls had fun won 1 game 7/8 girls came second in their pool 7/8 boys second in their pool 5/6 boys third in their pool All the coaches & umpires did a fantastic job!!!

REDS PREMIER LEAGUE GAMES V NC RAIDERS WILL MARK THE BEGINNING OF OUR INAUGURAL INDIGENOUS ROUND. We have a large community of indigenous players & players with indigenous history, at Reds, especially within our premier league teams! This is something very special to us & we would like to celebrate the inclusive, cultural hockey club that we have here at Reds. We want to not only to identify a fantastic part or our club culture, but also encourage other players to join us in our awesome & diverse family! Special cultural traditions will be included throughout the day's proceedings, either side of the premier league women's & men's matches. COME DOWN & CELEBRATE OUR FAMILY WITH US! WELCOME TO ALL!
REDS BEER OLYMPICS
Thought the shuffle party was a good time? Now add some "RED" solo cups and a bit of competition into the mix and I'm sure you'd all be begging for another round of fun in the club. Lucky for everyone, there are no round two requests required because the boys have taken matters into their own hands and are hosting our next big banger...BEER OLYMPICS! (Although, oddly enough, it is being organised by the women...no comment). On the same day as our inaugural Reds Indigenous Round, this is going to be a big club day/night!!! HOW IT WORKS: -5 team members per country -$25 to nominate & secure your country -Compete in your countries colours, so get creative & dressed up as a team! Represent your country, competing for the Olympic gold, silver & bronze medals (& bar tab!!!) in different team games throughout the night! Also a bar tab up for grabs for the best dressed team! Get your team country request in ASAP on the event! (Once it's gone, it's gone!!!) Stay tuned for more info but go ahead and save the date... June 10th my friends, it's going to be a heated competition!! Invite your team mates, friends, family & the whole army!

REDS Funding Request to purchase a Defibrillator Earlier this year, one of our members suffered a serious heart failure on field (Under 30 years old). Luckily the home club owned a defibrillator and it contributed to saving his life. The units are self-running and assist by giving CPR advice during an event as well. As a committee, we have agreed a defibrillator should be available and are seeking donations to assist with raising the $3000.00 required to locate one at the turf. Even small donations would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to help with this project, please message me (David Shine - men@reds.com.au) privately with your interest.
