Centre Rd, Sale, Australia
Local Business

Description

ad

The club is open on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am.  Visitors and spectators are welcome to attend.   SADAC started in 1977 and has continually improved since starting.  The grass runway is maintained perfectly and can be flown off all year round.  Planes from small foamies to large scale planes or large jet are no problems on the runway.  The club room and the undercover pits area have 12volt charging outlets for charging batteries.

SADAC is always happy for new members to join.  If anyone is interested in joining or just wants some information about aeromodelling come down and speak to one of the guys at the club, they are always happy to help and guide newcomers in the right direction of how to get started.

Any questions can be asked in the message area on this page and we will do our best to answer them.

New little Quad has arrived from Banggood. Only have had one fly, but love it already. Sit in one spot with the goggles and fly all around the house. Will try and post a video later.

Members visit LVMAC for 'Wet & Dry' Fly

Andy and I visited the Latrobe Valley Model Aero Club today, for their 'Wet & Dry Day', having Lake Naracan to fly off. A bit more overcast and cooler up the valley, as I had left home in blue skies and sunshine at 7.30am. The boys do a good hamburger and much appreciated cuppa. There were several rescue missions in the row boat. One I volunteered for as the ditched pilot and off sider said they weren't up to it. Upon return having explored the boundaries of Lake Naracan and prevailing head wind, I suggested a little cheap electric motor may have some merit!

KNAP Day 2016

The 2016 KNAP day was held in perfect conditions today, following last week's postponement. The forecast 26C° was made pleasant by a gentle easterly for most of the day, although at times it felt a tad hotter on the flight line. There was a magnificent display and mix of aircraft, even a prehistoric bird took to the skies! Congratulations to all who took part and contributed in any way shape or form, to making it such a great spectacle.
