ATO sorry after critical online systems crash for over two days

Unfortunately, "sorry" won't help us to get your refund in time for Christmas. ATO services have been offline and processing has ground to a halt after a critical IT failure on Sunday. Rest assured though, that as soon as ATO systems are back online and data has been restored, we will be hard at work to make sure you have a very Happy New Year.
