Big Sky Learning is an online tutoring service which provides rural students with additional access to educational opportunities. Based in rural QLD, Big Sky Learning offers educational services including:
- One on one tutoring sessions via Skype,
online whiteboard and/or telephone
- Delivery of Distance Education content (in
addition to scheduled on-air lessons)
- Tutoring sessions targeting specific learning
areas
- One off sessions
- Homework/assignment help
- Research tools/tips
- Proof reading & feedback on assignments
We aim to provide students, particularly those in rural and remote areas, an opportunity to improve their education experience and overcome barriers surrounding access that arise when living in such locations.
Students work with a qualified teacher with 9 years experience in a variety of educational settings.

Big Sky Learning aims to assist parents in overcoming barriers. The beauty of our services is that you don't have to leave home to connect with support for your child's education.

{ONE ON ONE SESSIONS} We will be offering a limited number of one on one tutoring sessions. Generally, session are for 1 hour, although this time frame can vary upon request. We conduct our sessions over Skype with the use of an online whiteboard tool, however where Skype is not available (we are very aware of the data drought), tutoring can be conducted over the phone. Hello and welcome! Big Sky Learning is an online/virtual tutoring service designed to cater for (but is not limited to) students living in rural and remote areas. It is no secret that there is a great divide in the level of access to extra educational opportunities for these children when compared to their metro cousins.
