It's a big week for our Senior Signers and our Year 2 Cresso Crackers. Wednesday evening is the Rockhampton Eisteddfod signing choir night. Notes were sent home last week with all the details but just a reminder - full Cresso uniform, meet at 5.30 in the car park behind the Pilbeam Theatre and collect by 8.00pm. We would love to see you in audience.

Crescent Lagoon showing their ANZAC spirit proudly
Just a hint for the ANZAC Parade tomorrow - park near the Town Hall. We'll finish there about 10.25. That way students won't have to walk back to Target again when they're hot and sweaty!
Here's a lovely message from our P & C Vice President ... This morning I had the pleasure of attending the Crescent Lagoon SS ANZAC Day Memorial Services at the school, both for senior and junior schools, as they paid their respects for the past, present and future service men and women who fight for our country and its freedom, it was a great honour to be part of such an amazing school, who take special days like ANZAC Day tomorrow as a super special time for the whole school to show just how grateful we are. And the beautiful wreaths each of the year levels make and lay is just delightful to see and be a part of. Thank you for a beautiful morning and the special certificate. I now have some special memories to keep and hold forever.

We are proud to acknowledge the servicemen and women of our Cresso families. Their service with the Australian Defence Forces will continue to be remembered through our CLSS Honour Roll. We also wear the badges of soldiers from the 42nd Battalion, RQR who served in France and Belgium 1916 - 1918, New Guinea 1943 - 1944 and on Bougainville 1945. "Lest we forget"

Attention to Woolies shoppers. The Marvel Heroes collectable discs are now out so Mrs Quirk will be running her raffles again. If you aren't collecting them for yourself, or if you have doubles, Mrs Quirk would appreciate any you can pass on. (She has already bought the album)

Please be mindful of parking at school. The yellow bays beside the bus stop in North St are a drop off zone only and your car should not be left unattended. Pulling to the side of the road in front of those cars that are angle parked is dangerous to pedestrians and other motorists alike.
