Jazz & Shiraz (+ Bubbles)

Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Rochedale in partnership with Redeemer Lutheran College presented a night of Jazz, Shiraz and Bubbles on Saturday 28 May at Redeemer's Multi-Purpose Centre Auditorium. 140 guests shared a great evening listening to great music, tasting beautiful wines, and eating great food prepared by a dedicated bunch of volunteers. A big thank you to all of our volunteers for their hard work in putting together a great night. Over $3,000 was raised in support of the Welcome Hub Appeal. #Jazz #Shiraz #Bubbles

REMINDER – MOVIE NIGHT ‘Orphan Rescue – South Sudan’ In prayerful support of John Yaak (our Orphan Rescue Project 2014 enabled John to move hundreds of orphans to safety) FREE MOVIE NIGHT this Saturday, May 21 at 6 pm – Redeemer Chapel The film is called ‘The Good Lie’ - ‘Miracles are made by people who refuse to stop believing’ (DUE TO WAR SCENES FILM IS CLASSIFIED ‘M’) 6 pm – Hot dogs & cold drinks (donation) 6:30 pm – Movie (free) Offerings toward current Sudan orphan crisis will be invited (tax deductible). Rescue Project Details: There are 95 children involved and at risk. There is no permanent solution available for them yet, but John is working on ‘Good Samaritan’ action to get the children into shelter and immediate care. The estimated cost for the project is $15,000. All funds will be accounted for through the registered charity and are fully tax deductible. Please pray and explore both this project and John’s passionate plans to help before it is too late – CHILDREN ARE DYING!!

Rock 'n' Roll

In just two weeks time, Our Saviour Youth is holding Rock 'n Roll, an event fundraising to send youth members to CLW, a life-changing youth camp. This is an all ages event, so come along and enjoy what is sure to be a great night full of live music and dancing!
