The Journal of Chinese Medicine

A US study of 89,000 acupuncture patients has found that between 85% and 93% reported that their acupuncturist had successfully treated their primary condition. Over 80 to 87% rated their acupuncturists at a nine or 10 on a 10-point scale. This is above the conventional care provider rate of 76 to 80%. And as far as side-effects are concerned there were a grand total of 13 non-serious events!
