headspace is a free youth mental health service for young people aged between 12 and 25. To make an appointment call 8641 4300.
headspace can help if you:
• are feeling down, stressed or can’t stop worrying
• haven't felt like yourself for a long time
• can't deal with school or finding it difficult to concentrate
• are feeling sick or worried about your health
• want to cut down on your drinking or drug use
• want to talk about sexuality, identity or relationships
• are having difficulties with friendships
• have sexual health issues or want to find out about contraception
• are being bullied, hurt or harassed
• are worried about work or study or if you’re having money trouble
headspace is a place you can go to talk to someone about any of these issues.

Happy New Year to everyone. The team at headspace Port Augusta are back at work refreshed and ready for 2017. To start the new year we would like to introduce our newest team member, Stephanie Brown. Stephanie is a Social Worker who started work with headspace just before the Xmas break. She has been busy over the break moving to Port Augusta and is settling into her new home, community and job. Welcome to the team Stephanie. Remember to make an appointment you can call 86414300 or drop into the centre on 16 - 20 Railway Parade.

headspace supports young people aged 12 - 25 who are going through a tough time and there are 2 ways that you can access the service and get support. eheadspace is a online and telephone service that can support young people who don't currently access a centre due to distance, not feeling comfortable with face to face support or just prefer this way of chatting. Or if you would like to make an appointment to talk with one of the team at headspace Port Augusta call 86414300 or drop into 16 - 20 Railway Parade to make an appointment. headspace has got your back.
