What a beautiful contrast in colors. These images were taken on the back to Arkaroola Village after exploring the Eco Camp Back Track 4 WD track, which was brilliant.

This is another one of my special places in the northern Flinders Ranges. Arkaroola Springs is very special and the rock formations are just amazing. Remnants of the volcanic or glacial era. The rocks look as though a cement truck had off loaded unwanted material which has been eroded over many years. Lets hope I listened to Rick, our Guide while on the Ridge Top Tour to Sillers Lookout.
Wadlata Outback Centre
The Flinders Ranges & Outback's interpretive center at the Wadlata Outback Center in Port Augusta is missing its windmill, well part of it but it will be back in about two weeks fully reconditioned and sporting a new lick of paint, Windmills seem to be the icon of the Outback. Thanks to the guys at Clare's CMB Solutions - windmills and pumps and Max Cranes. This upgrade would not have been possible without them.

I thought you may find this interesting but I am sure it is not true, albeit I had to laugh. Marree in the South Australian Outback is now going to experience Snow. Well according to the weather forecast for today. Just goes to show the #flindersrangesandouback is really really diverse.
The Outback Loop
Ohhhh my goodness. I would love to be in the Outback now!!. If you want to get away from it all too, don't forget to check out the Outback Loop brochure. It will take you to two pubs, two tracks and everything in between. Meaning the Strzelecki and Birdsville Tracks. You can travel to Innamincka via Arkaroola as well. Brilliant trip. Check the road conditions before heading out.
