In our homes on a daily basis, dogs and cats are absorbing dangerous chemicals, pesticides and fragrances through their noses, paws and skin. Unfortunately they are defenceless to these hidden dangers, which may be contributing towards pet allergies, kidney and liver disease, anaemia, and cancers. As pet owners we are responsible for identifying unseen hazards and take preventative measures to ensure the long term health of our pets. That is why I have chosen to use Thieves Household Cleaner formulated with 100% plant and mineral based ingredients. This product not only is a multipurpose cleaner but contains therapeutic graded and third party tested essential oils that support wellness and the immune boosting properties of Lemon, Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus and Rosemary. Young Living’s essential oils are world renowned with a seed to seal guarantee and form part of only 2% of essential oils in the world that are highly graded, therapeutic and 100 % pure. Thieves essential oil blend dates back to 15th-century French thieves who formulated the aromatic recipe of oils to protect themselves against diseases whilst robbing the dead and dying. Thieves concentrated household cleaner is a degreaser, all-purpose cleaner, laundry detergent, dish washing solution, glass cleaner, laundry and bathroom detergent, jewelry cleaner, and by adding bi-carb can be made into a bathroom scrub, odour eater and carpet deodouriser. The Thieves special blend is also used in toothpastes, mouth wash, wipes, foaming hand soap, stain removers and soap. I cannot think of another product that is guaranteed and safe enough to do all of that! Carpet and Pet Bed Deodouriser I cup of bi-carb 1/2 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner or 5 drops of Thieves Essential Oil In a large jar add the bi-carb, then pour in the capful of Thieves Household Cleaner, shake well and let stand overnight. Sprinkle on to carpets and rugs, leave for 5 – 15 minutes, vacuum thoroughly. On pet beds sprinkle on leave 5 to 15 minutes then shake bedding and mattresses thoroughly. This can also be used as a Litter Box Powder Add I tablespoon of the mixture to a clean litterbox and mix through thoroughly. Just love this product, so safe for our pets and smells amazing too. Last Monday my gorgeous Dane Ruby spent a day in hospital on a drip, for a severe bout of gastroenteritis and has been quiet all week recovering. Today I knew exactly where to find her ............in the grooming van enjoying the diffusing "Peace & Calming II".... :) Over the week I have also been using the soothing oil of Peppermint in her pendant diffuser on a collar. This is such a great oil for supporting normal digestion health.
