Description
Supporting people with disability and their families.
(08) 9474 3303 | reception@identitywa.com.au We are an outreach of the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth and while our services are proudly based on Catholic values, our Vision encompasses people of all faiths and backgrounds.
Our Vision is to build a community in which “All people live with a sense of purpose, a sense of belonging and a sense of wellbeing”.
For each individual and family this means we begin our relationship by asking, ‘What does a good life look like for you?’ We then work together to find the mix of right supports to help make this a reality.
To achieve this, we have an organisation with a 35 year legacy of providing quality support. From this strong foundation we are continually finding new ways of adapting our support to suit people’s needs, goals and dreams as they change over time.
This approach means that people with disability, families and Identitywa effectively become partners, working together to ensure lives are lived with a sense of purpose, belonging and wellbeing.

At what is an exciting time for all involved in disability support in Western Australia, Identitywa welcomes the appointment of the Hon Stephen Dawson as the new Minister for Environment; Disability Services; and Deputy Leader in the Legislative Council. We look forward to continuing to work closely with the Minister and the State Government to achieve great outcomes for people with disability and their families living in WA.

The chance to build knowledge and skills to better equip staff to assist the people Identitywa supports is at the centre of a collaboration between disability support agency, Identitywa, CCI Apprenticeships and Centacare Employment and Training. The 2017 class gathered at Identitywa’s new corporate base in Northbridge today for their induction. Identitywa’s goal is that staff will gain a sound knowledge of person centred support strategies and the skills to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals and families. Having highly skilled staff is critical to the delivery of Identitywa’s services which can assist people throughout their lives.
