We've just received this gorgeous shot of Libby Simpson (Falloon), Penny Moir (Leighton), Jane Wishaw and Felicity Summons (Evans) at the reunion of 'A Certain Year' on Saturday night. We hear Gary Rishworth created a spectacular culinary journey which made their reunion "all the more delicious." A great night, by the looks, and we can't wait to see more photos!

We are extremely saddened to learn Dr June Jones AM (Eggleston 1948) died on Saturday, 28 October 2017, aged 86. June came to PLC from St Mary’s in 1940 and was here until 1948, in which year she was Carmichael House Captain. She remained closely connected to the friends she made here, all her life. Our thoughts are with June's three daughters who were schooled entirely at PLC - Sarah Beshar (Jones, Head Prefect 1976), Katie Prevost (Jones 1978), and Alexandra Vines (Jones, Head Prefect 1985), and their families, and also with the Old Scholars of St Hilda’s Anglican Girls’ School, where June was Principal from 1980-1997. For those wishing to attend June's funeral service, it will be held at 10 am on Saturday, 4 November 2017, at Christ Church Grammar School Chapel.

On Sunday, the wonderful 2016 graduates came together for the Year 13 Lunch! The girls got together to discuss their year out of School, as well as the many fond memories they have of PLC. Principal, Dr Hadwen spoke with every Old Collegian individually, which the girls really appreciated. Year 12 Learning Co-ordinator, Jane Brandenburg said that "catching up with the 2016 leavers was so lovely. It was just like meeting up with a group of old friends". It was so lovely to see that you have all grown into such mature, driven and motivated young women. #InspiringWomen

The wonderful graduates from 2007 were reunited on Saturday! The girls discussed their time after PLC and laughed about old times. Principal, Dr Hadwen welcomed them back and updated them on all things PLC. It was so lovely to talk to these ladies and learn about their lives. What a lovely group of women!

The Mundaring Arts centre are launching an Exhibition of works by PLC's former Sports Mistress, Mrs Peggy Lyon. Peggy Lyon (1945-2017) was an artist of exceptional technical talent. Her works utilise a diversity of mediums and talk about our connections to place, family and belonging; her love of the Perth Hills and her concern and affinity for the natural environment. An artist of enormous sensibility, Peggy was an extraordinary supporter of the arts, as a teacher, curator and someone who was always willing to share her skills with her community. These works have never previously been shown as an autonomous body of work! The Exhibition opens tonight and continues until Sunday 19 November.

Over 60 Old Collegians returned to PLC on Saturday! After a tour of PLC, the Old Girls gathered at Cottesloe Beach for a catchup. It was so wonderful seeing everyone talk so much!
