More old school metal work this week boring the the stock 36mm PWK to 38mm, porting, lowering the cylinder and re shaping the head on a 1992 KX125 build for a 125 VMX tragic in Qld. Aways interesting to revist these old bikes and try to apply what we have learnt in the recent years about port timing and cylinder head design. The old KX was known to be peaky and flat power std back in the day, hopefully this one is a damsight faster with the work that has gone into it. Machining the head on these bikes is a challenge too with a off set spark plug hole requiring a special fixture to hold the head and spin it on the lathe.

More for the CRF250R fans. All finished off and on it's was to Charlie Costanzo. The flow test results are great so it should be good on the bike! A few before and after shots for those like the technical stuff!
Been a while between updates for the CRF250R but the 2018 is a whole new animal. We thought today we would have a look under the bonnet and see what makes her tick! lets see if Mr Honda left any meat on the bone for us tuner types...

A slight back log of porting work this week...
Just in Vortex X10 CDi for 2018 KTM85SX and Husky TC85. Been waiting for these to be released for a while now and keen to do some testing. DYNO graphs to come! We will be testing these with a Std Bike first and later with a Porting, Head Mods and the usual overbore carby mods.
