A well-appointed centre with internal refurbishments in 2013, Casey Childcare & Kindergarten opened in November 2013. With all new equipment, furnishings, toys and resources, no expense was spared when considering children’s needs. From babies to kinder kids, toys and educational resources were selected to interest and educate all children. Our emphasis is on nature and with a large portion of furnishings and toys being naturally manufactured, we are guiding our children to use our environment and not abuse it.
Our outside play area is fortunate to have natural grounds and an abundance of trees surrounding us. With the primary school being our back yard, children don’t feel that they are closed in. With huge potential, we are looking forward to building our Bush Tucker garden and housing some of our own small pets – something the children will definitely enjoy and learn about.
Our large undercover area means that during rainy periods, children can still play outside. We want our children to continue to be active and outdoors. We encourage our children to use the outdoor space for healthy imaginative play.

What a WONDERFUL WORKING BEE! A great team and everything on the list was done plus more. The weather was kind, sausages hit the spot, but the triumph was the end result and seeing the children engaging straight away. Special thank you to Flemings for our beautiful fruit and shade trees, Evergreen for the plants, pots and edging, Lakeside sand and soil for the topping for the bike path, and all our families who came and worked so hard. Thank you so so much.

Diversity week at Casey Childcare and Kindergarten has been so much fun! Cooking in the rooms of dips, damper, fruit kebabs, lamb koftas, pizzas, butter chicken and good old Anzac biscuits provide a real feast for our taste buds. With almost 30 languages represented in the service, it was wonderful to see staff and families engage in our cultural dress up day and special thank you to the mums and staff who came and provided cooking and art from home.

St Patricks Day was lots of fun as we wore green, ate green food and experienced lots of green art and craft. It was wonderful seeing all the effort the families had gone to in dressing their children in green clothes, ribbons and shoelaces. Thank you

This was some recent training our staff attended. Run by well known teacher Heather Monro from Kidzmusic Company and Kidliewinks Music Company , 12 of our educators participated in 2 hours of music and movement training. Look out for the new songs and dances the children will be bringing home.

This week is Diversity week with Tuesday 21st March being Harmony Day. The fun has started with a range of books and experiences reflecting the many cultures represented in the service. Tomorrow will be a focus on Harmony Day, represented by the colour Orange- so stay tuned for more photos over the coming week.
Situated centrally in Pakenham but nestled off the busy highway is this quality early childhood centre. Competitively priced yet offering quality care and service it is too good to not visit and see for yourself. Free nappies and all meals all you have to bring is a change of clothes and a hat. Weekly garden club, library trips and big school orientation contribute to a centre filled with quality programs and exceptional staff.
