Espen & Ted are quite excited, three months after taking over the Oriana Motor Inn, to have started the first serious renovation project. So far we've concentrated on fixing obvious defects, hiring additional staff, replacing faulty equipment, upgrading our in-room provisioning systems, doing a superficial interim redecoration of the restaurant, etc. - and of course changing and upgrading our menu. But now things are getting serious - we're totally refurbishing 10 rooms, which will inaugurate our new deluxe room category. New furniture, new colours, new carpets & curtains, improved bathrooms with new toilets and vanity units, new elegant pictures on the walls, new split system air conditioners, new flatscreen TVs & other in-room equipment - the whole deal. We'll have 4 rooms completed this week, and 2 more each week for the next 3 weeks. We confidently hope that our guests will be as impressed as we are with this new room offering!

We've enjoyed hosting this week at the Oriana Motor Inn many of the participants (and their fabulous cars) in the 13th annual Highwheeler Rally being run in the area around Orange, New South Wales.
