I am passionate about fashion and beautiful fabrics and have always found the need for good basics that can become your wardrobe staple and keep on working for you year after year.

Eight years ago I was on selling other designer labels and in the process manufactured a Basic Black Dress that could take you anywhere. I have now been asked by previous customers to resupply that Basic Black Dress and so the label BASICALLY YOURS was born.

This Basic Black Dress can take you anywhere. Dress it up, dress it down or even wear it as is. For travel it is a dream, it washes in cold water, needs no ironing and creases just drop out.

It also takes up little room in the suitcase, leaving lots more room for those special pieces you find on your travels.This dress now has some little sisters added to the family - the Tunic and the Singlet (a bit longer than most you can buy out there).

I am excited to also be adding Red and Electric Blue to the brand. So yes plenty of variety there.

During this process I have come across some beautiful fabrics that can be added to the brand. The plain colours will be available on going but the patterned fabrics will be seasonal and limited editions.

So the message is ... if you love one of the patterned fabrics then order quickly.
