World Science Festival Brisbane
If your in Brisbane this week young and old, your in for a rare experience. The World Science Festival is in town at the Cultural Precinct at Southbank. From what I understand, It is the first time the event has been held outside of the USA. Launched yesterday by Alan Alda (MASH fame), who has had a lifetime affinity to science. My good friends at Norwest Productions, part of the NW Group here in Australia won the contract to supply and install the technical staging elements including; video, lighting and audio production and from what I've seen they have once again done an outstanding job. If you are not in town this week - lock it into your calendar for next year , in what is a major coup for Brisbane they have won the rights to host the event for three years. http://www.worldsciencefestival.com.au/
