Today our Hamersley superstars swapped their usual club uniforms for the fabulous yellow!! And what a fabulous day it was, great performances all round and a lot of hard work paying off at the Little Athletics WA State Relay Championships! Go team🏆

It was a scorcher out there on the track today, and the athletes were on fire!🔥 Hope everyone enjoyed the 'pro' races and congrats to all participants! The 2016 Hamersley Gift was a massive success thanks to the West Coast Athletics League (Inc.) See you all at next year's gift!

Following on from our last uniform post - uniforms for relays will be on sale tomorrow from 9am. Shirts - $35 Shorts - $20 Cash and cheque ONLY. Please be reminded that the old uniform phasing-out period has ended and only new uniforms can be worn now.

Please find below a program of events for the Hamersley Gift which is being held at CRR this coming Saturday. There is a high calibre of athletes who will be competing for prize money, so there will be plenty of action out on the track - be sure to pick your favourite colour and cheer the athletes along in their colourful vests!!! We are also looking forward to having Tony Krsticevic MLA (Member for Carine) in attendance for his annual 550m gift race. Hamersley LAC would like to give a big thanks to Jim Kidd Sports Carine store for donating 2 vouchers on the PCH day. We know that the winners will enjoy looking at all the goodies Jim Kidd has to offer!

Don't forget - if you are a relay coach, there is a training session at Charles Riley at 5pm this afternoon! Make sure you come down to learn all about how to effectively coach your team with a focus on skills, drills and proper practice!
