Gnar at Nobes 2 was rad! Congrats to the winners and everyone that came along and big shout to Fast Times for supporting, and the Noble Park skatepark committee, particularly Kenan and Yoann for judging. We have Gnar at Nobes on Friday. Music, Shredding and prizes from fast times and device. Come down weather you want to compete or hang out with a good vibe!
There is a Scooter Contest at the Skatepark on the 13th of November. The way the council structure skatepark hire and use means only they can use the park that day so please plan to skate other parks on that day. There is a skate contest in the bowl on the 12th the day before, The MOSS Jam, and the same rules apply. It is a bit confusing as there is not a good way to let everyone know so there may be some disappointed people out there. Please tag your mates and let them know! Also, please tell the poor BMXicans who dont have an event on at all that weekend and dont seem to be allowed to skate at all on that weekend, during the event times. It may not be the most optimal system to close the whole park to all users if there is just event on one part of the skatepark, and we are suggesting to council to consider other ways for the future.
