New Norfolk Scout Group 2016
Description
Scouts are aged between 10 1/2 to 14 1/2 and meet on Monday nights 6 - 8pm. Cubs are aged between 7 1/2 to 10 1/2 and meet on Wednesday nights 6 - 7:30pm Scouts allow boys and girls to develop their confidence and learn to work as part of a team.
Scouts learn essential outdoor safety skills as well as participate in a variety of physical and intellectual
challenges.

Andy and Shelley managed to catch up with some of the joeys, who weren't able to make it to the award ceremony on Saturday, and present them with their badges and awards. Congratulations to Olive and Judah for getting Joey's of the Year.

New norfolk cubs and scouts walked in the new norfolk christmas parade yesterday then we all went to the esplanade for our break up BBQ and awards ceremony where the scouts of the year and cubs of the year were announced and awarded their medallions and shields, well done to everyone and thank you to all involved ☺

Tonight we finished off the term with all the older Cubs receiving their silver boomerang badges. Congratulations to all the Cubs this year and all they have achieved. See you Saturday for the Christmas parade followed by our break up BBQ and award presentations

Last week the scouts had some time in the pool, turned out was the best night for it as it was 30 degrees . Then we went to the esplanade for some games and chill time, the funniest part for us was watching the scouts in the pool when it started to rain and they were worried about getting wet from the rain. Hmmmm
Just a reminder to all scouts that there WILL NOT be scouts tomorrow night as we are all meeting at the hall on Wednesday at 5pm for our snakes alive night, 😊🐍🐍🐍
Just a reminder to all scouts for tonight, we are booked into the new norfolk swimming pool from 6pm, we will all be meeting down there, if you dont have your swimming badge and would like to have it Please bring a spare set of clothes to wear in the pool. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. 😊
