Jewellery Collective is a modern, light-filled jewellery school located at the Old Ambulance Station, an amazing arts hub in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. Jewellery Collective is a light-filled contemporary, Sunshine Coast jewellery school founded by Kimberley Mather, the jewellery designer behind the well-respected Australian label, Joyero Jewellery.
Our diverse range of jewellery workshops include beginner, intermediate and advanced silversmithing and skill based workshops that change every month.
Jewellery Collective's qualified, highly experienced teachers are practicing jewellers and have decades of industry experience to share with you. Our studio also hosts international guest lecturers from time to time.
Jewellery Collective aims to inspire and create innovation and education in the Arts on the Sunshine Coast.

I am excited to be launching my latest collection of jewellery at the Old Ambulance Station in Nambour on Sunday the 25 March from 2pm. Electroforming is the intricate process of fusing copper onto another medium via a low voltage charge that is passed through the materials to create a relief that becomes a separate part in its own right. In this first part of this two part workshop, you will learn to shape metal wire into interesting shapes to use in your piece, use a sculpting medium and learn to use a rectifier to create your magical piece of crystal jewellery. The second part of this class is where you will complete your piece by learning about different metal patinas and how to finish your piece. In this fun, hands on workshop, you will make three sterling silver stacking rings. You will learn to texture metal, as well as hammer, shape, file and solder silver to create your own personalised set of silver rings. The price includes silver for 3 rings and tea, coffee and biscuits. This workshop is suitable for beginners. Date: Saturday, 24 March Time: 10am-12.30pm Additional Information: Please wear enclosed shoes and have long hair tied back.
In this fun, hands on workshop you’ll learn the basics of stamping on metal to create personalised jewellery and accessories. We’ll discuss the necessary metalworking tools and materials needed and get right to work practicing the technique. Have fun stamping out meaningful names, dates, or your favorite inspiring or funny phrase. All necessary materials, equipment, and instruction will be provided. We will be working with copper, brass, aluminium and other nickel free soft metals. All materials, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Silver is available for purchase on the day if required. Date: Sunday, 18 March Time: 9.30am-12.30pm Please wear enclosed shoes and have long hair tied back.
