"The Originals" These Hawthorn caps were among the very first produced and sold at the Glenferrie Road oval back in 1969. It was the first time we had sold at a football game, I was four years old, but I still remember being with my dad at the game.

If you look closely at the far right, you will see the "St Kilda" cap. This was the start of our family business which, shortly after this photo, inspired Mum and Dad to move to Melbourne (the home of VFL/AFL football) to pursue their entrepreneurial dream. Have a look at the cars in the background!! This photo is on display at the Nangwarry museum. Nangwarry is about 30 minute drive from Mount Gambier.
