These Mullard KT88's are a new line. They come factory matched. Just to check though, we fired up the Maximatcher. Results show the quad is perfect according to the factory data and the Maximatcher result. Not bad!

Just putting the Maxi Matcher 2 through its paces. Nothing too exotic - The ever reliable EHX EL34 power pentode . The ability to compare four bottles on the fly is fantastic. Scope of adjustment of the B+ & G1- voltages helps with stabilisation.
Ok. So seeing we had an exciting morning of thermionic delights, further investigation into our mystery package shows it contains another recondite device. Looks like a Maxi Matcher 2!
