Mordialloc Dance Studio
Description
Running for over 40 years, Mordialloc Dance Studio is a community dance school, offering classes in all styles of dance to children and adults. Welcome to the Mordialloc Dance Studio! We run classes in all styles of dance, for all ages and offer fun and structured dance classes at affordable prices. At the Mordialloc Community Centre we have an all-inclusive policy and pride ourselves on offering dance classes to all members of our community.
The dance program at MCC has been running for over 40 years and is a very popular choice amongst our community. Currently we are one of the largest dance schools in Melbourne with over 550 students and 8 teaching staff. Our studio is a great place to develop skills and make friends, and offers students the opportunity to dance at a level suitable to them, whether that be to pursue a career in dance, or to dance for fun and fitness.

IT'S DANCE TEACHER TUESDAY!! Today you will be meeting fabulous FRANCES GALEA!! Miss Frances discovered her passion for dance at the age of 6. She loved the way dance made her feel; the freedom of dance, the thrill of working towards a goal and the electricity of showing family and friends what she had learnt at the end of year performance. Miss Frances' dance training ranges over 17 years where she has trained in the styles of Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary and Character. It was in her late teens that Miss Frances realised she wanted to turn her passion for dance into a career where she could share her love of performing and hard work with others. Miss Frances then studied a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management at Box Hill Institute where she learnt safe progressions for students in Ballet and Jazz, Childhood and Adolescent Development, Stage Craft and Business Management. Miss Frances has since worked at many dance schools across Melbourne, teaching a variety of styles and age groups. In 2016, Miss Frances had the privilege to perform at LA Disney, Universal Studios and Hollywood Boulevard. This was the trip of a lifetime. Miss Frances and a group of hardworking young people worked for 9 months on a show stopping 22-minute routine to take overseas and perform to LA crowds. During this experience Miss France had to opportunity to participate in workshops at the Edge Studios, Disneyland Performing Arts, LA Clippers Spirit Cheerleaders and Abbey Lee Dance Company LA. Miss Frances got to work along side professional dancers and learn from them. She can’t wait to bring all she has learnt into the classroom at MDS in 2017 😄😄😄
