At Bright Beginnings, we aim to ensure that the value of the child, the value of the family and the value of a quality learning environment is respected and nurtured within our setting.
At Bright Beginnings, we believe that the child is a capable, competent, critical and valued member of our family daycare environment. Influenced by the works of Malaguzzi and Montessori, at Bright Beginnings, I believe the child to be an active participant who is full of curiosity, and desire and ability to communicate from early in their life. With this understanding of the importance of quality care in the early years, I am committed to ensuring that all children registered with Bright Beginnings are provided with the best start in life to create a future of learning and positive development for themselves, and their families. Miss Bek finally let her little baby come out. I listened to all the little girls and definitely did not want to pop! Taylor Gene was born on Tuesday at 3:28pm. Unfortunately Dan just wasn't a fan of all the fantastic name suggestions from our daycare kids (who wouldn't want a son called Prince Charming?) We look forward to introducing Taylor to all our daycare family next week 😊.

A timely reminder as we come to the end of the year. In family daycare we have a small and intimate learning group, which means when you send a child in sick it quickly spreads to the other families and educator. The best and only place for an unwell child is at home.

One of our day care kids brought in a container of caterpillars 🐛 for us to watch. They very quickly turned into cocoons and today have come out as moths. So very exciting.
