Nanny & Occasional Care
I have been a nanny and baby sitter for 4+ years. I have experience in Child Care Centres, Occasional Care and Private homes. I come from a large family. I have completed a Cert 3 in Early Childhood and Education, CPR and have a Working With Children's Check.
I want to work in partnership with parents to nurture a happy, resilient child. I engage children in a range of experiences to support their learning and development in these very important formative years.
I understand children. I work on interest-based activities and focus on the learning opportunities in a child-friendly, positive way. I support the child’s agency in gross and fine motor activities, cooking, arts & crafts, creative and interactive games, music of all sorts - dancing, singing.
Last of all, we must not forget the necessities of life - bathing, happy bed times, reading and sharing stories. ‘Drop off and pick ups’ from children’s events - school, sport and leisure activities, children’s parties etc.  I love animals, so house hold pets are not an issue. I am confident, when you meet me – you will know I am the one to make a difference for your children.
