Mitchie Makers Markets is a local event for all the family on the 2nd Friday of each month. Come and supporting your local artisans. Mitchie Makers Markets is a social enterprise with an ethos for connecting real and passionate makers to the local community. The markets gives back to the community through supporting Mitchelton Football Club.
Walk, ride or drive. We’re right on the Kedron Brook bikeway and there’s plenty of parking.
You can shop, dine, let the kids run wild and enjoy some entertainment.
The Mitchie Makers Markets at Teralba Park has been initiated, to promote:
1. Local people who make, bake, create, grow, sow and up-cycle with their hands;
2. Families coming together on a Friday night under lights, or time shared with friends;
3. The wonderful facilities at the Mitchelton Football Club and Teralba Park.
4. Cultivate an appreciation for what's great about our local economy.
The first Markets were held in December 2015. It has then grown quickly to become an institution each month in 2016.
We want this Facebook page to bring the markets alive, to give a taste of the Mitchelton community and to showcase the creativity of locals.

Merry Christmas Mitchie Makers Markets would like to wish a Merry Christmas to everyone who supported their local makers this year. We hope you enjoyed the markets as much as we enjoyed hosting them. Popcorn Man
The Sundown Cinema Follow up your treat from the Popcorn Man with an outdoor film. The Sundown Cinema will be showing Home Alone this Friday. Bring a picnic blanket. The film will start as soon as it's dark enough to see the screen. It happens to be the shortest night of the year so the film will start about 7pm.
