It's officially too hot to cook. May I suggest you avoid the sweaty commute home and stay cool at the shady Less Than Zero tonight? Your cheeseburger dinner with a side of poutine (to share) and Old Fashioneds (nope, not sharing those) awaits! Delish pix by Kontent.

30 Things That Are So Southside
Weekend read: what's your idea of being "so southside". The Urban List | Melbourne's (tongue-in-cheek) version is based on an uber-specific strata of Melbourne society I reckon!

TGIF! 1. On Sunday, the Midsumma Festival will transform the Alexandra Gardens (on the southern banks of the Yarra River) into a carnival and Chapel Street will create a mini-Urban Village on site! Melbourne’s highest percentage of same sex couples live in our neighborhood. So the Precinct is no longer just a playground destination, we are - quite simply - home. To provide respite to the over-danced and under-hydrated there will be a lounge area where visitors can relax, read a copy of our Summer Street Press and receive a complementary hand treatment from Meticulous Beauty - Organic, Natural & Eco Salon, or a treatment or cut-throat shave by Barberesso. Got a competitive streak? You can also compete in the Vision Personal Training Prahran spin bike relay. https://goo.gl/IHzx10 2. SHARK WEEK is here! And it's not what you think. The new exhibit at Enough is curated by Tsuno and features the likes of artists Beci Orpin, Lost & Made and Billie Justice Thomson. Shark Week aims to break taboos surrounding women's periods through humour and beauty. Opening tonight from 6pm with Campari drinks! Broadsheet Melbourne has the scoop: https://goo.gl/sFyfek 3. By day it's high tea parlour Fancy Nance. By night it transforms into *Zumbo Dessert Bar* with cocktails, soft serve machine, DJ and of course after dinner desserts (or indeed, dessert for dinner)! Zumbo Dessert Bar is new to Friday & Saturday nights only, from tonight. Good Food knows what's what: http://goo.gl/hA4QeO

Just some good looking people being pretty darn adorable - if we do say so - to get you over the hump today. Ze talented Karen Woo Photographer snapped Josh Miller (wearing Peter Jackson) alongside gf Steph Claire Smith at the Jeep Portsea Polo this past weekend. Would you go for this look at the polo?

Oh Honey
It's the freakin' weekend! Our biggest tip for you is that this year's 'Sunset Sounds' series kicks off this Sunday from 6pm with an intimate live set from The Audreys at Victoria Gardens. It's FREE and there will be food trucks from which to scrounge up dinner. Skip on over to Bā Charlie, The Smith or HeyGringo for drinks or dessert post show. http://goo.gl/swKjzJ
