Maylands Peninsula parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Maylands, WA, Australia.
Maylands Peninsula parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Projects - Australian Sports Foundation
Hi all, We want Maylands Peninsula parkrun to be the safest possible environment for our community to get together and exercise however we have identified that, as things currently stand, we do not have ready access to a defibrillator. In fact, our nearest defibrillator is at The Rise (corner Guildford Road and Eighth Avenue) approximately 3.3km away! As such we've made it our goal for 2017 to change that. Please help us raise $2,000 to purchase a defib for Maylands Peninsula parkrun. Click the link below for more information or to make a donation. Other parkruns across Australia without defibrillators are also fundraising for a defib at the moment, so please feel free to share with others so all the parkruns can help reach their fundraising goals :D What you give today will help ensure the safety of all parkrunners in the future. Thank you in advance for your support. #defibs4parkrun
