We are a volunteer fire brigade supporting Maryborough (VIC) and district in being fire safe CFA is a volunteer and community-based fire and emergency services organisation. Our vision is to work together with communities to keep Victorians safe from fire and other emergencies.

FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS MEETING - MAJORCA This Saturday the 4th of Feb the Carisbrook Fire Brigade will be hosting a Fire Ready Victoria meeting at the Majorca War Memorial. The session will commence at 10.30am. Please share this notification with friends and family from that area.

Tomorrow Monday the 30th has been declared a TOTAL FIRE BAN for the entire state of VICTORIA. As a minimum there are two things we ask you to do today if you live in a high risk area (and that is almost all areas surrounding Maryborough) #1. Review your plan and discuss it with your family and neighbours. Then discuss Plan B and Plan C. #2. If your leaving early or working away from home tomorrow take with you any important documents and keepsakes. If a fire does start whilst you are away from home you may be unable to return until safe to do so. Take care and be prepared. In North Central fire district our fire danger rating is SEVERE.
