Interior Design & Decorating
"Add creativity and wow factor to your home" Interior design and decorating is my "passion". My name is Robin Macleod and my business is in Mackay, Queensland and I have been fortunate to have been making homes look beautiful for 30 plus years.
My journey started in Perth where I had my own homewares store and all items available were imported directly from overseas factories. After selling the business and moving to Queensland I became involved with many building companies throughout the state and have experienced some amazing opportunities to interior design and fit out display homes. As a testimony to my work in this field it has resulted with countless private clients.
I offer every client my experience and genuine belief that I will deliver a wonderful finished product.
As a bonus to each and every client I supply furniture and decorator items that are not seen locally at competitive prices.

Don’t you wish that you could buy an old loft style apartment and renovate it and end up with a finished look like this. Absolutely stunning with a neutral colour kitchen palette. Love the original face brick feature, such a warm feel. If you have a large space with high ceilings that can become a blank canvas this galley kitchen look is very easy to achieve. If you are thinking of renovating your home call me on 0407842846 to organise a consultation. Image courtesy of HomeDSGN #kitchenrenovation #galleykitchen

A beautiful minimalistic bathroom using timber, lots of glass, streamline design sanitary-ware, fittings and an interesting indoor plant. Stunning ✨ I have the occasional clients who feel that they need to try and have all timbers matching, "definitely not necessary". In this image you will notice that there are different coloured timbers used, a fantastic look and much more interesting! Image courtesy of HomeDSGN.

Neil and I have been very privileged to spend some quality time with our family at the beautiful Bencluna homestead at Eureka, northern NSW. The homestead was built in 1893 and has had some minor modern changes which has not detracted from the original charm and character. The window seat was a huge hit with my grandchildren to hang out and read. The entry has a delightful pressed metal ceiling 💛The dining room has a refractory style table with a church pew seat one side and modern grey metal chairs the other and the modern style concrete lights add that modern feel. The main bathroom has a gorgeous claw foot bath and a huge walk in shower with rain head from the ceiling to add the modern feel. The property is a working macadamia farm and that area of NSW is the macadamia capital of Australia.

Still loving the greens. The psychological effect of decorating using greens is especially calming, balancing, healing, relaxing, and tranquil. It typifies growth, vitality, abundance, and nature. I have put together some bits and pieces that work wonders, the fabric I have chosen is the beautiful soft Casamance Illusion III and it is 100% linen, stunning!
