~Herbal Cleanser~ Hi everyone! I wanted to share this DIY herbal facial cleanser recipe (adapted from a Rosemary Gladstar recipe). It's so easy to make, no synthetic or nasty ingredients. It's quite moisturising to the skin, anti inflammatory and of course helps cleanse the skin. You can use it as a body scrub as well. This recipe can be adapted to suit your skin type. ~Recipe~ 2TBS pink clay 1/2 cup of oats (grind in NutiBullet or equivalent) 1/4 cup ground almonds 1/8 cup calendula flowers (ground) 1/8 cup lavender flowers (ground) ~Directions ~ Place 1-2 tsp of dry cleanse on your palm. Add a little water and lightly massage on face. Rinse off with warm water. ****keep in an airtight container. For further support and a comprehensive approach to health please call ReMed on 1300 1REMED to book an appointment or you can book online https://remed-natural-medicine-clinic.cliniko.com/bookings#location
Making up a small batch of herbal face cleanser today. This recipe is so easy to make...would you like the recipe ?! 🤗 . . . . .
I am constantly on the search for good food and recipes to share with patients. I'm especially interested in lunchbox snacks and slices. I made this delicious slice recipe by @maggie_beer, it has been a winner! Loads of nuts and seeds, tahini, a little dried fruit, raw honey, buckinis then covered in dark chocolate 🤤 I didn't have all the necessary ingredients and it still tasted great!
Mum's homegrown watermelon. I planted the same seedlings and got nothing 😭 We will enjoy this one though !

Many people seek out the help of a naturopath or nutritionist when they are not able to pinpoint the root cause of their health concerns. Food intolerances are much more common than you think, especially in children and can manifest in many different ways, such as eczema/dermatitis, asthma, hayfever, poor gut health and sore tummies, constipation or soft stools, recurrent infections, moody behaviour, dark circles under eyes and even bed wetting. During March, ReMed are offering $50 OFF food intolerance testing (IgG) for the first 10 new patients at both our Lower Plenty and Hawthorn Clinics with every Initial naturopathic appointment. https://mailchi.mp/remed.com.au/food-intolerances-special-in-march-remed-lower-plenty
Tibetan medicine teaches that the purpose of life is to be happy. It is possible to become aware of how your thoughts and behaviours influence your health and happiness. http://www.thewayofmeditation.com.au/blog/tibetan-healing/
Come along to our free information session on food intolerances next week at ReMed. Many adults and children are dealing with food sensitivities and may be experiencing chronic complaints with - digestion (bloating and pain) - skin (eczema, psoriasis and hives) - joints (pain and inflammation) - respiratory issues (asthma, frequent infections) - energy levels (chronic fatigue, failing to thrive) - cognition, learning and behaviour (development delay, speech delay, migraines). Food intolerances are also strongly linked to autoimmune diseases such as thyroid disease, Crohns and ulcerative colitis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Rebecca Hughes will discuss common food intolerances and workshop alternatives. Please come along, bring a friend, or send a friend. Event details: 21 March 7.30 - 8.30pm ReMed, 205 Main Rd, Lower plenty. Cost: FREE https://www.facebook.com/events/1637500629665472/?ti=icl
'Overall, the research results are promising, and lion’s mane could contribute to the prevention or at least mitigation of cognitive impairment diseases. With increasing age, everybody will eventually suffer from cognitive impairment in some sort. Maintaining cognitive faculties would enhance the personal quality of life as well as the community’s quality of life.' https://understandable.scienceblog.com/60/lions-mane-lets-neurons-grow/
