Description
Theatre Theatre Productions is a youth theatre company based on the North Coast of New South Wales. Theatre Theatre Productions is a youth theatre company based on the North Coast of New South Wales, supporting young people from their first experience in the theatre through to preparing them to enter the industry as a professional.
The company has been integrating professional theatre practices with young people since 1994, focusing holistically on the theatrical process - from improvisation, script deconstruction through to stagecraft and back of house production processes.
Theatre Theatre works with students aged five through to 18, in age and skill appropriate teams and has produced alumni who have gone on to study theatrically at NIDA, Victorian College of the Arts, University of Southern Queensland, Univeristy of Queensland and the Conservatorium. Further - working in a professional environment with Zen Zen Zo, La Boite Theatre Company, Ego Management, Livescape Events, Channel 9 and Disney.

Two Weeks With The Queen

"Dear Your Majesty The Queen, I need to speak to you urgently about my sister Lucy. She's got cancer and the doctors in Australia are being really slack. If I could borrow your top doctor for a few days I know he/she would fix things in no time." Theatre Theatre presents Morris Gleitzman's 'Two Weeks With The Queen', opening tomorrow night at The Temple Theatre, 111 Magellan Street, Lismore. This incredibly poignant Australian black comedy tells the story of Colin, a young boy sent away to England whilst his sister is dying from cancer. You will laugh and cry along with us as we present to you Colin's emotional and physical journey, and his quest to find the world's best doctor and save his sister's life. We, at Theatre Theatre Productions, would be honoured if joined us for one of the performances: Thursday, 17th of March at 7pm; Friday, 18th of March at 7pm; and Saturday, 19th of March at 7pm. Bring your friends, bring your families, bring everyone you know and settle down to an evening of exceptional theatre. All tickets will be sold at the door.
