Ferris Building Pty Ltd was started by Joshua Ferris in 2007 to optimise his passion for building custom built residential homes. Ferris Building is proud to have grown into a professional, eighteen-person team all sharing a passion for building and awarded from both industry and peer associations for high quality building works. Joshua genuinely cares about his team and is focused about getting the right people on board. Josh’s most outstanding achievement, along with the awards, is a developing a well-established team of which he is proud to have working alongside him.
Joshua has a passion for the challenge of building high quality architect custom designed homes. To join this team, people need to share three core values.
Passion - We have a passion for excellence in building. In fact, for everything we do. This is about going the extra mile to do the right job. Close enough is not good enough. Before we build something for a client we ask ourselves "Is that the way we'd do it in our own home?" We are passionate about both the final product and the journey in creating it. Our goal is to exceed our client's expectations. This is proven by the positive relationships we uphold with our past clients.
Respect - We respect our Teammates, our clients, our contractors and ourselves. Our clients are treated as valued guests on the worksite. We believe that anyone who comes onto our site deserves to be treated with respect. We treat the homes we build with the same respect and deserve all that we can give.
Teamwork - We believe that great teamwork is the only way to deliver excellence. Teamwork is about us all working together to achieve a result we are all proud of. Josh is highly focused on team building and development implementing an ongoing tradition of a weekly Monday morning team meeting, along with creating a senior leadership team. It is these steps that are bringing our frontline team together with supervisors to create not only a strong team bond but an open, honest and enjoyable working environment overall.
