The Richmond Vale Railway and Museum is a volunteer non-profit organization, formed in 1979 with the aim of preserving the Railway and Mining Heritage of J&A Brown and the Hunter Valley.

The annual Model Exhibition is on again at Richmond Vale Railway Museum. The event will be held on the 14th and 15th May. This is the only exhibition where you have to catch a full sized train to see all of the exhibits. http://www.richmondvalerailwaymuseum.org/expo/index.html

RVRM is open Saturday and Sunday this weekend as part of Hunter Valley Steamfest. First train is around 10:30 and the last train is at 3pm.
