The Grass is Always Greener
Ever wondered why the grass is always greener on the other side? We can do ourselves a whole lot of damage by continuing to measure ourselves to what others have. So how can we help this? https://kkbcfromthepastorsdesk.wordpress.com/2017/02/04/the-grass-is-always-greener

Our guest preacher Jonathan spoke about applying the gospel to every part of our lives. We can't always reason and rationalise our faith, but that is what makes it faith! We have to have the gospel not just in our head but in our hearts before we can unashamedly proclaim it to everyone around us.

Jars of Clay
Our lives are so fragile, so meaningless and so insignificant in the big picture, have you ever stopped to ponder why God chose to give us the greatest gift He could ever give us? We believe our lives are so important and we are so special that of course God should love us but the reality is... we're dirt. No literally, we are not just worthless like dirt, we are dirt. Don't forget the reason for the season this Christmas and take the time to give God the glory for His son. Our Christmas Day Church Service begins at 9am and following that will be a short morning tea for anyone who wants to stay and fellowship. Please invite along anyone that you think of because it may be the best gift you could ever give to them.
Life: The Waiting Room
We spend the whole of our lives waiting. Waiting for traffic, for appointments, big events, work to finish, dinner to cook, children to go to sleep, the list goes on and on. This is no different with our spiritual lives either, we are constantly encouraged to wait upon the Lord, to take time out to wait for God to speak, to wait out our current circumstances until God rescues us, and the hardest of all for most Christians: to wait for God to grant us our vindication and all we could ever desire when we finally reach our heavenly glory.
