Barbara and I (Jackie) at Animal Kinship absolutely love what we do. Not only do we love working in the shop with our customers, we both have other interests working with people and animals. Attached is a newsletter from PAWS Pet Therapy that Barbara and her dog Kirra volunteer for. They love the work they are doing and the people they're meeting. Have a look and take notice of the section "A Volunteers Journey - Barbara and Kirra" to see what they're up to. http://shoutout.wix.com/so/9LmyQr7j?cid=39e1b8d2-c338-4ef0-b728-7cc10aca8acc#/main

One last reminder from Animal Kinship as I head off to my horse clinic this afternoon and Barbara is not particularly Facebook savvy. We've made the tough decision that we will have to close the shop for a couple of days over this weekend while I am at a horse clinic and Barbara is away at a yearly dog training conference. We are very excited to get these experiences so we can help our customers all the more. So please mark your calendars and we thank you for your understanding and patience!

The breed that we've chosen this afternoon to highlight is the Boston Terrier. This is a very happy little breed. Usually very eager to please, which means easy to train! They are a sturdy little breed and are great for families. Easy to take around due to their size and not much grooming required. This is one of those breeds that just makes you smile! http://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/boston-terrier/

Happy Tuesday to you all! I came in this morning to Kiama Council repairing the "slippery when wet" slope in the sidewalk out front of our shop and the dentist next door. They said it will take until Thursday to complete the job. The shop is OPEN while the repairs are on, so please stop in! Also, we would like to remind you that the shop will be operating on limited hours this Friday June 23rd from 11:00am to 5:00pm and will be closed this weekend both Saturday and Sunday the 24th and 25th while Barbara and I are away at training. Remember to stock up early! Thank you!! :-)

Good Friday to you all from Animal Kinship! As I have horses on the brain today, your animal info for today is on the beautiful Morgan Horse. These are not common in Australia as of yet. They are a stunning and extremely versatile breed. They excel at any type of discipline. They are typically very people oriented. They love to have a job to do and cheeky. There is a great crowd of people here in Australia working with Morgans. Here is the link to their breed association for more information... https://morganhorse.com.au/
