Some areas of this park are closed due to road maintenance and slippery road surface conditions unless the closure is otherwise extended or removed. NPWS NAROOMA BULLETIN 05/17 To: NPWS stakeholders From: NPWS Far South Coast Region – North Area Date: 25/5/2017 No of pages (including this page): 1 RE: ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE – BENDETHERA FIRE TRAIL DEUA NP NPWS staff will commence essential trail maintenance work on Bendethera Fire Trail starting Friday 26th May 2017. Works are expected to take between 2 – 3 weeks to complete (depending on weather conditions). We do not expect to have to close this trail at this point in time. However, we do ask drivers to use extreme caution when driving on this trail as it may become slippery in sections while works are being carried out. This information will also be posted on the website at www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au For further information regarding this bulletin or information on other areas in South Coast Branch, please contact the NPWS Narooma office on 02 4476 0800.

NPWS NAROOMA BULLETIN 04/17 To: NPWS stakeholders From: NPWS Far South Coast Region – North Area Date: 18/04/2017 No of pages (including this page): 1 RE: JOINT PRESCRIBED BURN – DAMPIER SF AND DEUA NP Forestry Corporation NSW and NPWS are intending to carry out a large prescribed burn in Dampier SF and Deua NP in the next few days, depending on weather conditions. The Comerang burn is located east of Bendethera Camping Area and covers an area of approximately 2500 ha. German Creek Road will be temporarily CLOSED for the duration of the burn. Little Sugarloaf Road will remain open over the ANZAC Day long weekend but may be temporarily CLOSED after ANZAC Day to complete the burn. Bendethera Camping Area will remain open. For updates on closures, please check the website www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au and click on the ‘alerts’ tab. The burn will be monitored by ground crews and or aircraft each day. There may be some smoke drift in association with this burn. If you suffer from medical problems such as asthma, please take the following precautions: • close all windows • stay inside • or, leave the area during the burn.
