This Saturday night, David Fooks & Schmørgåsbaag invite you to our exhibition event of sad tidings and melancholy: DAISY DIDN’T DIE : Portraits from Beneath the Clouded Guise 5-10pm SAT 17th DECEMBER The walls will be lined with portraits of familiar faces at their most vulnerable. Your favourite band will be there with some live music: TANTRIC SAX JAVA FONDA and more to come... There’ll be interactive performance, and plenty of drinks at the bar. Let's say good riddance to what’s been a bit of an all round rough year for all of us. Say goodbye to your fallen idols, share your feelings and dance away your troubles.

She - The Dead Maggies Single Launch & SHE Fundraiser

Tomorrow at the 'Baag, The Dead Maggies will be performing their new single, inspired by the stories of Tasmanian women with lived experiences of family violence. All profits from the event, bar and all sales of the single go to S.H.E. (Support, Help and Empowerment Inc.) who provide support and assistance to women who have experienced family violence. 5pm, entry by donation includes a copy of the single.
