Ten Days on the Island - Tasmania's Arts Festival

It is definitely the event season in Hobart! We are looking forward to the Wooden Boat festival and the Hobart regatta this weekend. We are also keen for the annual Festa Italia coming up in a couple of weeks, which is also a great day out for the whole family. We've been busy over the Chinese New Year period, we welcome the year of the rooster! We've recently added our deluxe queen room, which is the largest of our guest rooms. Here's a sneak peek for you!

We are eager for the arrival of the Spiegeltent event in March! This event showcases comedy, music, magic and is great for the whole family. Argyle Accommodation is a very convenient place to stay in Hobart, especially for this exciting event! It is only a 5 minute walk from our accommodation down to the Spiegeltent. Don't forget the MONA FOMA festival in Hobart is coming up in a weeks time.

Hey guys! It is most definitely a very busy season for us during the Christmas and new year period, we have accommodated many hikers, festival goers and yachties. Congratulations to all the competitors who participated in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race, you've done a wonderful job! Hi everyone it’s competition time! What is it? In celebration of the end of our first six months of operation we are offering the opportunity to one lucky winner to book a free night’s accommodation in one of our beautiful Queen Rooms (as pictured below) on a day of your choice between Sunday the 11th of December and Thursday the 22nd of December! How does the competition work and how do I enter? To be a part of this competition you need to ‘like’ and ‘share’ this post, as well as ensure that you have ‘liked’ our page itself. Doing so will give you an entry into the prize draw that will decide the lucky winner of a free night's accommodation between the above dates! When does the competition close and when will the winner be announced? The competition will close on Wednesday the 7th of December, any entries after the 7th of December will sadly not be counted. The winner of the prize draw will be announced on Friday the 9th of December via a post and they will be subsequently contacted! Best of luck! :)

Well Folks we continue to run at 100% occupancy, so if you have an event in the city and want to be close by, best to look at your dates and make a reservation as we are continuing to book heavily all the way into December. We would love to see any smiley faces that need a bed.

The season for hiking is well under way with lots of groups coming through to take on the Overland Track and the Three Capes Walk keeping us nice and busy, and a great bunch of people.
