This baby ringtail possum came to us about 3 months ago being orphaned and weighing just 72 grams (smaller than a mouse) now he is over 500 grams 1/2 his adult weight and ready for soft release into a bush shelter where he will acclimatise and become a wild possum once again. All people must realise that these animals try and survive in a hostile environment where their native habitat is destroyed by human development and activity. Please pass this knowledge along.
