Gen health Hamilton is a modern, collaborative approach to allied health care, unlike any clinic in the region.
Formed by a team of 4 local girls, Kelly Thomas, Stephanie Lamont, Melanie Roll and Jessica Fishburn, we combine podiatry, physiotherapy and clinical Pilates to revolutionise the management of your acute injury or chronic illness.
As young allied health professionals working in country practice, we know that a team approach leads to better outcomes.
In the past, with health disciplines working solo, you were required to source your own care, piece by piece.
We thought....Wouldn't it be great if there was a clinic that offered complete one-stop care?
Where communication between practitioners happened instantly?
Where expertise from different disciplines could be sought on the spot?
No clinic-hopping with paperwork in-hand to repeat your story over again?
It's here that the Gen Health concept was born.
Gen represents 'genesis' for original thinking, 'generational' for complete family care across the ages, 'gen-y' for modern knowledge and technology and 'general' for your total wellbeing.
We're proud to be launching this new brand of health care, for the community we love. Together, we combine the skills, knowledge and passion to give you the health you've always wanted.

Last Friday saw the Gen Health team racing around the streets of Hamilton giving back to the community during a mini 'Christmas Themed Amazing Race'. Everyone's true colours were out in force with unknown competitive streaks appearing, singing voices blaring and team spirit gleaming. Some of the tasks we were put to work on were: - Assisting at the Uniting Church to distribute left over food from a luncheon to families in need - Buying and placing Christmas presents for boys aged 13-15 under the Safeway Christmas Tree - Purchasing a Christmas Outfit from an Op shops - Weeding at the Community Garden We would like to thank the many people and businesses who assisted in some way including: * Quinns Sportspower * Hamilton Pocket Garden * The Uniting Church Hamilton especially Heather MacLean * All of the Op shops in town * The group of onlookers to singing performed by Rachel Templer & Cassie Franklin * anyone else who helped in some way shape or form..... A quiet game of bowls @ the Grangeburn Bowling Club, great food a few cool drinks were available at the end of a busy, hot & productive afternoon out in the community!
