There seems to be a bit of a misconception going around that the staff here at the Cinema are going through people's bags, let me assure you this is not the case at all. We simply ask people if they have any outside food in their bags. This is not a new thing here at the Cinema and has been this way for many years as it is at a great deal of cinemas. This is not because we are mean spirited it is simply that one of the only ways in which we can make money and keep the doors open is through the sales at the Candy Bar. The majority of the people who come to the Cinema understand and appreciate this and for this we thank you.

Looks like a Girls Night it is! I thought we might have some couples looking for a different Valentine's night out. Anyway, it will be Friday 10th February - just nibblies & a glass of wine. We'll let you know when tickets are available. Thank you all for your interest. Ps........... I can still put on a session on the Tuesday night for Valentine's Day if there are enough people interested.

For the Fifty Shades fans out there: We want to hold a Special Event with this movie and while our first choice would be a Girls Night on Friday 10th February, for various reasons we cannot provide our usual goodie bags, so we are looking at a Valentine's Night event, which would be on the Tuesday night, 14th February. For any fans of these events, if you could let me know which one you might like to attend, we would be grateful

Thanks to all those Star Wars fans who came to see "Rogue One" over the Christmas Public Holidays. Our ticket sales are now up to the same percentage as the rest of Australia after a slow start, and this movie deserves it! We still have 2 more weeks of "Rogue One screenings - it finishes on the 11th January - so don't miss out.
