Little has given me more opportunity to put lifes philosophy into practice than communing with and working next to horses. Cavalry (soldiers on horseback) and chivalry have the same root: the Medieval Latin word caballarius, meaning "horseman" or "knight...I believe the nobility of knights was inspired by the horse. Whose survival is bound to the virtues of companionship, competency, kindness, efficiency, loyalty, courage and discernment. I believe the horse has the free will to abandon these virtues, but the cost is death. We choose to abandon these virtues at an equally high consequence, but our cost is the dying of the spirit. The spirit of the horse will always live on, while ours is walking a knifes edge between entropy and fulfillment. You alone make the choice which side to lean
