Brisbane Water LAC are investigating the theft of medical equipment from Somersby. Between 8pm Sunday 1st of May and 6am Monday 2nd May a defibrillator, oxygen resuscitation bag and first aid kit were stolen from a Mercedes Van belonging to a voluntary medical organisation, The van was parked in a towing yard on Wisemans Ferry Road, Somersby. The equipment is worth several thousand dollars. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

For those of you that don't know, Senior Constable Chris Thornton gave his life in the execution of his duty. He will always be remembered and we know he will be having a grin and a beer up in heaven. RIP mate
