Wednesday Worlds, The Series - points update… just to get you in the mood for tomorrow's round. A Grade - It's neck and neck for 2nd between Campbell Hall and Zakk Patterson, with Tim Hoy a clear favourite to win the series. Mr Consistency. B Grade - A very tight contest with the first four all in contention for the win, and several others vying for the minor placings before the series is over. Fun to watch! C Grade - Simon Dickson is probably ready to move to B Grade, but not until he has strengthened his stranglehold on C and secured the win, undoubtedly. A good start to his crit racing career. And with Mark Hoy breathing down Luke Richert's neck, it'll be interesting to see how this pans out. With 8 rounds to go, in fact, it's anyone's for the taking, and it's a great tussle in each grade. So get in on the action and see if you can't work your way up the ladder. You've got to be in it, to win it. Don't forget, for every round you enter, you also get a ticket in our Golden Ticket draw on 28 February 2018. It doesn't matter where you are in the series - this is a draw for all participants, with one lucky winner getting free entry into all Gold Coast Cycling Club restricted open racing for 2018.
Actually, we’ve just checked with Council and our booking is confirmed for Thursday. MTBA have access from Friday with their competition running Saturday and Sunday, so we’re all good for junior training both Tuesday (tomorrow) and Thursday this week. Can’t wait to see everyone coming back refreshed and ready to roll! Thanks, Mal.
