KGB GROUP OF COMPANIES KGB Coatings – Site Services Pty Ltd and KGB Protective Coatings Pty Ltd are Australian Companies fully established in Newcastle since 1965.
KGB specialise in the service and procurement of abrasive blast cleaning, protective coatings, general protective painting and maintenance to Commercial and Construction Industries and Government Departments. The nature of the companies’ activities places particular emphasis on experience, expertise, capability, reliability and quality and getting the job done right the first time, every time, and most importantly, on time.
Our Companies supply full inspection services on every project, OH&S Management System, Q.A Management System, Environmental Management System, Fully qualified tradesmen on all projects, qualified supervisors and qualified project managers.
The objectives of the Management of KGB is to provide quality services and processes which conform to agreed customers' needs and expectations and keeping with contractual requirements.
Our aim is to provide customer service through cooperation and communication. Value is a composite of quality, safety, promptness, availability, operating efficiency, and on-time delivery and at all times competitive cost. To achieve the objective, one of the most essential elements is to "do the job right the first time". This naturally involves having the necessary skills, organisational tools, procedures and major element, the full commitment of Managing Directors and all the
KGB employees.
As of 01.07.2007 KGB has taken control of Steel Coatings grit blasting / painting facility at Gateshead offering in house grit blasting / uncover painting 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Potential capacity is 5000 tones p.a and items up to 20 tonnes single weight.

If it's 30 metres in the air or 30 metres in a hole, the teams at KGB get the job done! Blasting and Painting in difficult environments are our specialty.
Here is another fine example of well built encapsulation and negative air pressure ensuring no emissions while abrasive blasting. The two videos are of different sites being worked simultaneously by the teams at KGB.
Emissions from the encapsulation are a big No No when doing hazardous removal projects. As you can see in this video the team at KGB meet and exceed the compliance requirements.
